We’re on the lookout for a motivated and hands-on person to support honey extraction and processing at our modern, newly built extraction plant on the East Coast!

As a Honey Processing Officer, you’ll play a key role in turning raw honey into a high-quality product that is enjoyed throughout Aotearoa and beyond.

⏰ Hours: Full-time permanent, 40 hours

Previous experience in honey processing or food production is a bonus, but not necessary. Full training will be provided, and we encourage all who are interested in applying for this unique role!

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating and maintaining honey processing equipment
• Supervising honey extraction to meet food safety standards
• Cleaning, maintaining, and preparing gear for daily use
• Managing inventory, storage, and dispatching product
• Safe vehicle and forklift operation

What we’re looking for:

This role suits someone who is:

• Mechanically minded and detail oriented
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a team player
• Willing to learn and open to training and development opportunities
• Flexible and able to adapt to seasonal workflow
• Safety conscious around food safety standards and health and safety
• A current forklift licence, first aid cert, or class 2 licence are great to have, but not essential
