Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role:
The Early Intervention Services Manager is a role that has current contracts but also capacity for new contracts. The Manager will have day-to-day management and oversight of the Tuhono Whanau team(Supervisor/s, Kaiawhina, Kaiwhakarite) and the Manaaki Kaiawhina team with the potential for growth, including but not limited to, future contracts. The Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the services are working towards and achieving their requirements of the Contracts including (but not limited to) meeting reporting and monitoring schedules. The Manager will draft the annual Tuhono Whanau and Manaaki Kaiawhina Service Plans and budgets (for Directors approval) and keep accurate records of expenditure. The Manager will be responsible for the services and kaimahi across the delivery areas, Gisborne and the Ngati Porou rohe, and ensure that access to Tuhono Whanau and Manaaki Kaiawhina support is enabled for those whanau who have tamariki and mokopuna under 5 years of age, or for Manaaki Kaiawhina all age cohorts, who are in need of medium to intensive parenting, whanau support and connecting to the right supports.
The Manager will work as a part of the highly experienced WO Management team that each contribute to the strategic goals and objectives of Ngati Porou Oranga specifically through supporting the Whanau Oranga Continuum of Care initiatives with a primary focus on building resilience for whanau.
This full-time permanent position, 40hrs per week, will work out of the Gisborne office, with travel required across the East Coast rohe.
